CoughAssist T70 clears secretions from the lungs by gradually applying positive air pressure (inspiration) to the airway and then rapidly shifting to negative air pressure (expiration). When you breathe out, the T70 creates a suckling force that pulls the air out of your lungs. The resulting high expiratory flow simulates a deep, stronger cough.
